 0. Introduction

Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed most commonly on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world [1]. Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Saint Nick, Kris Kringle, Father Christmas, or simply Santa (Santy in Hiberno-English), is a legendary figure of Western Christian culture who is said to bring gifts to the homes of well-behaved ("good" or "nice") children on Christmas Eve (24 December) and the early morning hours of Christmas Day (25 December) [2]. These 3D-printed example are used for teach beginner how to use the Athorbot Buddy Couple 3D printer to print out single color and mixed colored Santa Claus.
This section will teach beginner will guide you from machine set-up, slicing setting and expected results.

 1. Machine set-up: Athorbot Buddy Couple

Belt is tight enough---screw is tight enough---Power supply is at the right Voltage position (US:110V, EU: 240V)---the wire connection is correct---x/y/z axis movement is correct---auto home works fine--- temperature works fine---preheat works fine.

 2. Upload the firmware

Upload the “Athorbot mix” firmware and it provides different functions to make mixing color by changing the mixing percentage on the LCD screen. Percentage 100 and 0 means single color.

3. Slicing setting

3.1 Print single color (PLA white and red):

Save to Gcode file and copy to the SD card.
Setting the Mix_Percent at 0 or 100 before printing. You will get white or red prints.

3.2 Print mixed color: Athorbot PLA yellow and red

Setting the Mix_Percent at from 10 to 90 during printing.

Athorbot Buddy Couple 3D printer can print single color, mixed color prints. It can be upgraded to bigger size and used for all samples and projects.
